Yapbuilt RM S 70

Used on underground, above ground, underwater floors on the interior and exterior facades of all buildings; for chamfer application, repair, surface leveling before water insulation or final coating; for the repair of concrete and reinforcement damaged by abrasion of reinforcement bars.

Concrete surfaces:Ensure that the surface is clean, dry and free of mold oils. Check the floor with the help of a hammer for the detection of soils with low adherence. Break off weak parts from the floor and leave open corners at the edges of the area to be repaired. Completely uncover rusty reinforcement bars. Always moisturize the surface and saturate it with water on very hot and windy weather before the application

Reinforcement bars:Remove rust from the iron with a steel wire brush and remove the dust. Interrupt the contact of the reinforcement bars with the concrete and apply at least 2 coats of anti-corrosion and binder coating primer using a brush. Perform the next application while the material is still wet, i.e. wet-on-wet.

Add an average of 4.00 – 5.00 liters of clean water to a 25 kg bag of YAPBUILT RM S70. Mix YAPBUILT RM S70 with a trowel or a low speed hand mixer until it becomes homogeneous. Allow the mixture to stand for 2 minutes before application.

Apply YAPBUILT RM S70 evenly over the entire surface with a steel trowel. If more than one coat will be applied, wait 3 hours between coats and moisturize the surface before applying the next coat. Total thickness should not exceed 40 mm. Ensure the smoothness of the surface with a plastic trowel or damp sponge. After application, moisturize the surface for 2-3 days.

Do not add water to the hardening mortar.

When applying YAPBUILT RM S70, if the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +35°C, wait for suitable temperatures. Do not apply in extremely hot, rainy or windy weather. Do not apply on surfaces that are frozen, melting or in danger of frost within 24 hours. The thickness of single coat application should be max. 15.0 mm. Do not add water and new material to the mixture that has started to cure. Not applicable on plaster, old painted surfaces, gas concrete. Clean the tools and equipment you have used with water after application. YAPBUILT RM S70 may only be mechanically removed from the surface after it has hardened

An average of 1.80 – 2.0 kg/m2 YAPBUILT RM S70 is used for 1 mm application thickness.

Store in a clean, dry environment, free from moisture, between +50C and +350C, away from direct sunlight. Protect against water, frost and severe weather conditions. Store in stacks of maximum 10 layers. Storage life is maximum 12 months from the date of production, provided that the storage conditions specified are complied with.

First, take all necessary Occupational Health and Safety precautions in the areas for the application and ensure that the operations are carried out by persons with technical knowledge and equipment. Follow the Occupational Health and Safety instructions for all the work carried out. It is mandatory to use all occupational safety equipment such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles/masks etc. specified in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety instructions during the application. The working area needs to be ventilated. Do not approach warehouses and storage areas with fire. Avoid contact of the product with skin and eyes, immediately wash the area of contact with plenty of water and seek medical advice immediately in such a case. Also, prevent contact of food and beverages with the product. Store and protect away from children. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for further information. Also, the application of the product should be carried out by persons with adequate technical knowledge, equipment and experience. The user is solely responsible for this
