Yaprheo Mortar II

The usage rate is recommended to be 0.4% – 1.0% of the total binder amount. For the best results, the usage rate should be determined by laboratory tests in advance. For detailed information, YAPKİM Technical Department should be consulted.

Add YAPRHEO© MORTAR II directly into the mixed mortar. Select the right aggregate and water/cement ratio and mix the mortar thoroughly. It is recommended to use between 3 – 8 kg per m³. However, it is important to identify the correct dosage that needs to be used. Thus, carry out laboratory experiments before use and identify the utilization rate based on these studies.

Mix the binders and aggregates entering the mixture. Add additive with the amount obtained as a result of previous experiments to the mix water and add this to the dry mix. If used in combination with YAPRHEO^® MORTAR I, add both additives to the dry mix after adding both additives to the mix water. Mix until the desired homogenous consistency is achieved. (A mixing time of 30 -45 seconds is recommended.)

• Identify the utilization rate of additives in screeds and mortar design by means of experiments to be carried out in advance based on the desired properties. It is recommended to consult YAPKİM Technical Department for your questions about different applications.
• Do not add the mortar additive directly to the dry mix. Follow the steps specified in the application method.

• The amount of additive in the mix is calculated by multiplying the total amount of cement by the mix ratio of the additive. If more additive is used than the recommended amount, the amount of air in the mixture would increase and the mechanical strength of the mixture may be reduced.
• Application surface temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C.

The performance temperature of the material is between -20°C and +80°C.

Store in original sealed containers at temperatures between 5°C and 350°C. Store as sealed, away from direct sunlight and protect from extreme temperatures. Failure to comply with the recommended storage conditions may result in premature deterioration of the product or packaging. Shelf life is 12 months if stored in sealed packaging according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

YAPRHEO© MORTAR II is available in 30 kg Plastic Drum or 1000 kg IBC

Clean the tools you have used with water immediately after application. The dosage ratios provided in the method of application are for normal use and do not imply absolute limits, and other dosage ratios may be used in special cases based on specific conditions of use. If required, consult YAPKİM Yapı Kimya San. A.Ş. Technical Service Department for recommendations. Trial mixtures need to be prepared to ensure optimum dosage and efficacy.

First, take all necessary Occupational Health and Safety precautions in the areas for the application and ensure that the operations are carried out by persons with technical knowledge and equipment. It is mandatory to use all occupational safety equipment such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles/masks etc. specified in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety instructions during the application. Do not approach warehouses and storage areas with fire. Avoid contact of the product with skin and eyes, immediately wash the area of contact with plenty of water and seek
medical advice immediately in such a case. Also, prevent contact of food and beverages with the product. Store and protect away from children. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for further information. Also, the application of the product should be carried out by persons with adequate technical knowledge, equipment and experience. The user is solely responsible for this.
