It is used for bonding and grouting of coating materials such as ceramics, tiles, granite ceramics, glass mosaics in tile grouting applications up to 12 mm, in environments that require special resistance to acids and alkalis. It is suitable for use in chemical industry, laboratories, production and storage centers, paper, leather and battery factories, food industry, slaughterhouses, dairies, restaurants, wine and beer factories, fresh-dried fruit processing facilities, olive factories, biscuit factories, tomato paste factories, hospitals and clinics, operating rooms, kitchens, showers, sanitary areas, etc

Care should be taken to ensure that the surface is clean, dry and solid. The surface to be applied should be cleaned of residues such as dust, dirt, mold oil, slag, paint that prevent adhesion. If there are defects and cracks on the surface to be treated, they should be corrected with YAPBUILT © series repair mortars at least 24 hours before. The tile gaps should be dry, intact and clean. Dust, dirt, oil, cement residues that prevent adhesion between the joint gaps to be applied should be removed from the surface. It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting, or where there is a risk of rain or frost within 24 hours

5,20 kg YAPBOND© EPO JOINT is ready for use. All two components in the bucket should be thoroughly mixed, preferably with a low-speed mixer, until they become a homogeneous paste. If the two components are not to be consumed completely, the mixture should be made by determining the mixing ratio of both components by weight (component A / component B).

In bonding ceramics: The grout should be applied to the surface and its thickness should be adjusted with a toothed steel trowel. The thread size of the trowel should be determined according to the size of the ceramic to be laid and the smoothness of the surface to be applied. For good adhesion, air must be expelled by applying force with the help of a rubber hammer. YAPBOND© EPO JOINT stains on ceramics should be cleaned with a warm, damp sponge before drying.

When applying joint sealants: YAPBOND© EPO TECH should be filled into the gaps with a spatula or gun. While the application is in progress, the YAPBOND© EPO TECH stains on the coating should be cleaned with a warm, damp sponge before they dry. After hardened, YAPBOND© EPO TECH is very difficult to clean.

The prepared mixture should be consumed within no more than 120 minutes

For applications at temperatures below 15°C, YAPBOND© EPO TECH should be kept in a warm place one day in advance to bring lubricity and ease of application. However, during application, YAPBOND© EPO TECH must be at room temperature. Expired or crusted grout in the container should be discarded. After application, hands and application tools should be washed with plenty of water or industrial solvents while the tile grout is still fresh. Not suitable for absorbent ceramics and finishing materials, epoxy resin can affect the color of ceramics and stones. There may be darkening of the product color in areas exposed to UV, this does not affect the technical performance of the product. The temperature resistance of the product is between (-200°C) and (+800°C). The consumption amounts stated are for general information purposes only. It may vary depending on application conditions and surface properties. Since it is epoxy based, do not come into contact with the skin, eyes and food.

Should be stored in a clean, dry, and moisture-free environment, at a temperature between (+5)0C and (+35)0C, away from direct sunlight exposure. Must be protected against water, frost, and severe weather conditions. Should be stored in stacks of no more than 10 layers. Provided that the specified storage conditions are complied with, the storage life is a maximum of 12 months from the date of manufacture

Occupational Health and Safety instructions must be followed in all applications. In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety instructions, it is obligatory to use all occupational safety equipment such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles/masks during the application. It is necessary to ventilate the work site. Warehouses and stock areas should not be approached with fire. Contact of the product with skin and eyes should be strictly avoided. In such a case, the area where the product comes into contact should be washed immediately with plenty of water, and medical help should be sought immediately. Food and beverages should also not come into contact with the product. The product should be stored and protected in places away from children. For more information, the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) should be reviewed. In addition, the application of the product should be done by people with sufficient technical knowledge, equipment, and experience. The responsibility in this regard belongs exclusively to the user.
