It should be ensured that the surface is clean, dry and intact. The surface to be applied should be cleaned of residues such as dust, dirt, mold oil, slag, paint that prevent adhesion. Subsurfaces that are not strong enough to support themselves, such as cracked plasters, weak surfaces, mortar and cement residues should be scraped from the surface. Plasters thinner than 3 mm on the application surface should be scraped off and completely cleaned from the surface. If there are defects and cracks on the surface to be treated, they should be corrected with YAPBUILT © series repair mortars at least 24 hours before. The surface should be prepared with appropriate mechanical preparation techniques, such as high-pressure water or abrasive equipment.

25 kg YAPBOND© PRIMER A is ready for use. Before putting into use, it must be shaken so that it becomes homogeneous without thinning. The homogenized mixture is applied to the surface in a single layer with the help of a roller or brush. It should be applied in two coats to highly absorbent surfaces such as plaster, screed and concrete.

Other applications should be started at least 2 hours after YAPBOND© PRIMER A application. The drying time of the applied product is 45 – 60 minutes. Low temperatures and high due humidity will extend this period. In order to maintain the surface adherence provided by YAPBOND PRIMER A©, care should be taken against defilement during application.

During the application, the surface and ambient temperature should be between (+5)0C and (+35)0C. Following the application, the treated surfaces should be protected from direct sunlight for 24 hours. In cases where the temperature of the application surface exceeds (+35)0C, the absorbency of the surface should be determined and precautions should be taken against excessive absorbency in the surfaces. During and after application, the surface should be protected from air currents. It should not be applied in rainy weather, and the applied surface should be protected from rain for 24 hours. This product is not to be
applied on gypsum plaster, gypsum board and gypsum block. It should not be applied on constantly wet and damp surfaces. The stated consumption amounts are for informational purposes only. Depending on the application conditions and surface properties, consumption amounts may vary. No additives other than the substances in the technical data sheet of the product or other additives should be added. During storage, products must be protected against severe weather and frost. After the applications, hands and application tools should be washed with plenty of water.

Should be stored in a clean, dry, and moisture-free environment, at a temperature between (+5)0C and (+35)0C, away from direct sunlight exposure. It must be protected against water, frost, and severe weather conditions. It should be stored in stacks of no more than 3 layers. In long-term storage, buckets should not be stacked on top of each other. Provided that the specified storage conditions are complied with, the storage life is a maximum of 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Occupational Health and Safety instructions must be followed in all applications. In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety instructions, it is
obligatory to use all occupational safety equipment such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles/masks during the application. It is necessary to ventilate the work site. Warehouses and stock areas should not be approached with fire. Contact of the product with skin and eyes should be strictly avoided. In such a case, the area where the product comes into contact should be washed immediately with plenty of water, and medical help should be sought immediately. Food and beverages
should also not come into contact with the product. The product should be stored and protected in places away from children. For more information, the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) should be reviewed. In addition, the application of the product should be done by people with sufficient technical knowledge, equipment, and experience. The responsibility in this regard belongs exclusively to the user.
