It is used in very heavy machine assemblies, machine foundations that will be exposed to high dynamic loads, repairs that require high strength in the beams and legs of gantry and tower cranes, bridge supports, fixing steel columns to the foundation, repair and maintenance of marine structures, repair and protection of underground art structures, repair of large cracks in structures and floors

Preparation of the Machine and Foundation Before the machine is placed, the loose and damaged areas in the concrete should be cleaned, and the surfaces to be repaired should be roughened. Any foreign matter that may affect the performance of the grout, such as oil, grease, dust smeared on the surface of the bolt and base plate, should be cleaned and care should be taken to ensure that the surfaces are dry. Air vent holes must be drilled in advance on the base plate. The machine should be placed and its position and scale should be adjusted, after which its position should not be changed at all. If the adjustment wedges (shims) are to be removed later, they should be lightly oiled so that the mortar does not stick

Preparation of Molds Molds should be made of solid material, mounted to withstand the forces it will encounter during the process. On the side where the grout mortar will be poured, there should be a casting gap of 5 cm between the edge of the base plate and the mold. In order to give the pressure to the grout mortar to ensure the spread, the mold height should be considered on the casting side, depending on the situation. In order to fill the bottom of very large plates, it may be necessary to take precautions such as making a pressure height of up to 1.5 m or using equipment such as pumps, pipes, etc. The edges of the molds must be free of gaps to prevent leakage and pressure loss.

Preparation of the Mixture: Components of YAPBUILT© EPOXY MORTAR A and B should be added to a clean mixing bucket and mixed with a low-speed mixer for 3 minutes. Then, component C should be added gradually and mixed with a mixer with 400-600 cycles until a homogeneous and lump-free mixture is obtained

Repair Applications The prepared mortar should be applied to the surface with a trowel so that its thickness is between 4 mm and 50 mm. The maximum application thickness should not exceed 50 mm in one layer. Large surfaces open to the atmosphere, especially hot, dry and windy environments, should be protected from external influences for 24-48 hours.

Do not apply YAPBUILT® EPOXY MORTAR at temperatures below +5oC. In exterior surface applications, the surface must be protected from the sun, wind, rain, or frost for the first 24 hours. Make sure that the material is mixed in the correct mixing proportions. The operating and reaction times of resin-based systems are affected by ambient and ground temperature and relative humidity in the air. At low temperatures, the reaction slows down, this increases the duration of its use and operation. High temperatures accelerate the reaction, and the times mentioned above are correspondingly shortened. In order for the material to complete its cure, the ambient and floor temperature should not fall below the minimum allowable temperature. YAPBUILT® EPOXY MORTAR is produced in ready-to-use sets. During the application, solvents, etc. should not be added to the mixture. Vibrators should not be used when placing the material

It should be stored in a clean, dry and moisture-free environment between +50C and +250C, away from direct sunlight. It must be protected against water, frost and severe weather. In short-term storage, a maximum of 3 pallets should be placed on top of each other and shipment should be made with a first-in, first-out system. In long-term storage, pallets should not be stacked on top of each other. Provided that the specified storage conditions are complied with, the storage life is a maximum of 12 months from the date of manufacture
