Compressive Strength | ≥ 50,00 N/mm2(28 days) |
Adhesion Strength | ≥ 2,00 N/mm2 (28 days) |
It is used in the assembly, repair and elevation of manhole beds that need to be put into use in a short time, in the repair of runways and platforms, in the proportion of concrete floors exposed to vehicles and traffic, in the repair of curbs and paving stones
Pre-application Surface Preparation
The application floor surface must be clean and solid, free from dirt, dust and weak particles. The mold to be applied must be fixed, sealed, and cleaned very well. If the application is to be made on old concrete, the surface must be moistened before the application. Small puddles should be avoided. Taking into account the working time, enough material to be used should be prepared.
During the application, the ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C. Application under strong wind or sun should be avoided. It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or in danger of frost within 24 hours
A 25 kg bag of YAPBUILT® MANHOLE LEVELLER ML 50 should be slowly poured into the container containing an average of 3.00 – 3.50 liters of clean water and mixed for about 30 seconds with the help of a low-speed hand mixer until a homogeneous consistency is reached. The mixing water should be in the range of 20-25°C. At the end of the process, the resulting mortar is quickly placed in place. After the material has reacted, water should not be added again and mixed. The prepared mixture should be placed in place within 2.5 minutes, depending on the air temperature and the amount of water. To fill the gaps that are surrounded on all four sides and covered, the YAPBUILT® MANHOLE LEVELLER ML 50 must be poured from one side. Thus, it prevents the formation of gaps by expelling air. It can be pushed from one side with a long piece of iron during casting to accelerate fluidity
For the best results in the YAPBUILT® MANHOLE LEVELLER ML 50 application, the ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C and necessary precautions should be taken in bad weather conditions. The performance temperature of the material is between -40°C and +80°C. The terminated application should be protected from severe weather conditions for 24 hours. (Intense sun, wind, frost, rain, etc.) In order for the performance and technical values of the material to provide the specified data, and for there to be no prolongation or shortening in the processing and open holding times; It is recommended to apply at the specified ambient and surface temperatures, in an environment with optimum humidity. Packages that have been stored in advance and will be opened for application should be made ready for use at an average of 25°C. It should not be used in contact with liquids with a pH value of less than 5.5. A vibrator must not be used when inserting the YAPBUILT® MANHOLE LEVELLER ML 50
The thickness of the casting should be between 10 – 45 mm at a time, as the thickness of the layer. When filling cylindrical small-diameter anchors, it is recommended to make a preliminary trial if they are to be used. In applications thicker than 45 mm, the addition of 5 – 12 mm thick aggregates at the rate of 30% of the material is made in two ways
It is added to the aggregate mortar. This process is continued until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.
• The aggregate is poured or laid on the floor to be applied. The mixture is then poured onto the prepared YAPBUILT® MANHOLE LEVELLER ML 50.
The self-leveling mortar also allows us to obtain a high-strength concrete by surrounding the entire aggregate.
For an application thickness of 1 mm, 2.00 – 2.20 kg of powder YAPBUILT © MANHOLE LEVELLER ML 50 is used for mortar
It should be stored in a clean, dry, and moisture-free environment between +50C and +350C, away from direct sunlight. It must be protected against water, frost, and severe weather. It should be stored in stacks of no more than 10 layers. Provided that the specified storage conditions are complied with, the storage life is a maximum of 12 months from the date of manufacture
First, all necessary Occupational Health and Safety measures should be taken in the areas where the application will be made and the procedures should be carried out by people who have technical knowledge and equipment. Occupational Health and Safety instructions must be followed in all works. In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety instructions, it is obligatory to use all occupational safety equipment such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles/masks during the application For more information, the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) should be reviewed.
