Used indoors and in dry environments, hospitals, shops, educational and administrative buildings, hotels, shopping malls, residential buildings, for leveling of screeds with uneven surfaces before bonding ceramic, marble, natural stone, parquet, carpet and PVC coatings

Before the application of YAPFLOOR® SL 100 ensure that the surface is strong, free of dust, dry, clean and has sufficient load resistance. Remove any oil, grease, rust, plaster, paraffin and paint residues that may reduce adhesion from the surface and ensure that there are no loose particles on the surface. Repair any defects on the surface such as joints, fractures etc. before application. For large areas, identify application elevations by grading in order to avoid differences in elevation. To extend the processing time of YAPFLOOR® SL 100 leveling screed, increase adhesion to the floor and minimize air bubbles:
Apply YAPRHEO© LATEX 5 with a brush or a roll. For highly absorbent surfaces, apply the second coat. Proceed to other processes after conducting the drying test

Mixing: Pour an average of 4.00 L water into a clean mixing bucket with a scale cup. Add 20 kg of YAPFLOOR® SL 110 slowly and mix with a 400-600 rpm mixer for 3-5 minutes until a homogeneous and lump-free mixture is achieved. Afterapprox. 3-5 minutes of resting time, mix it again for 30 second and the product becomes ready-to-use. Apply continuously in order to achieve a uniform and smooth coating. Therefore, depending on the size of the application area, more than one mixing bucket should be used to ensure the continuity of the pouring process and the prepared mixtures should be poured onto the floor one after the other to ensure effective spreading.

Application: Spread the mixture on the prepared surface with a toothed trowel or adjustable trowel to the desired thickness. The mortar is spread evenly by leveling itself. Do not add water during setting period and remove air from the surface with a spiked roller. Do not apply YAPFLOOR® SL 110 at temperatures below +5oC and avoid sudden temperature changes. Do not perform the process in places with low humidity, high room temperature, and exposed to the effects of sun and wind

To achieve an application thickness of 1 mm, use an average of 1.60 – 1.80 kg/m² of powder mixture.

When applying YAPSEAL © SL 110, if the ambient temperature and surface temperature are below +5°C or above +25°C, wait for suitable temperatures. Also, do not apply in extremely hot, rainy or windy weather, too. For applications to be carried out at suitable temperatures, bring the materials to be used to the application area 1-2 days in advance for storage and adaptation to the ambient conditions. For applications to be carried out in extremely cold weather, increase the ambient and floor temperature by means of heaters, and condition the packaging at +20oC to +25oC to improve the processability of the material and make it ready for use. Applications should be carried out by specialized installers. Working and reaction times of cement based systems are affected by ambient and floor temperatures and relative moisture in the air. Hydration slows down in low temperatures and this extends the pan life and working time. High temperatures speed up hydration; so the above-mentioned times get shorter accordingly. In order to ensure the material completes its setting, ambient and surface temperature should not be lower than the permitted minimum temperature. After mixing, allow the material to rest and then mix again and apply. After the application of YAPFLOOR®SL 100, wait at least 3 days for any other application (wood parquet, PVC, etc.). Prevent rapid drying after application of the material. Protect the applied material against water contact.

Store in a clean, dry environment, free from moisture, between +50C and +350C, away from direct sunlight. Protect against water, frost and severe weather conditions. Store in stacks of maximum 10 layers. Storage life is maximum 12 months from the date of production, provided that the storage conditions specified are complied with.

First, take all necessary Occupational Health and Safety precautions in the areas for the application and ensure that the operations are carried out by persons with technical knowledge and equipment. Follow the Occupational Health and Safety instructions for all the work carried out. It is mandatory to use all occupational safety equipment such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles/masks etc. specified in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety instructions during the application. The working area needs to be ventilated. Do not approach warehouses and storage areas with fire. Avoid contact of the product with skin and eyes, immediately wash the area of contact with plenty of water and seek medical advice immediately in such a case. Also, prevent contact of food and beverages with the product. Store and protect away from children. See Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for further information. Also, the application of the product should be carried out by persons with adequate technical knowledge, equipment and experience. The user is solely responsible for this.
