It is used to regain, repair or strengthen the lost bearing capacities of stone, brick or conventional walls of historical buildings, to repair the cracks of masonry domes and vaults, to create a foundation for existing historical masonry walls, to fill large gaps, to repair and strengthen cracks in walls in sulfate environments
The surfaces of historical masonry buildings to be repaired and plastered must be solid, dust-free and clean before application. Surface should be free of dust, oil and loose parts that will reduce adherence. The surface to be applied should be moistened before the application.
Mixture Preparation: 20 kg of YAPGUARD© ANTIQUE IN 200 is added slowly to 6.00 – 6.40 liters of clean water. It is mixed with a low-speed mechanical mixer for an average of 4 minutes until a homogeneous appearance is achieved. Let the material rest for 1-2 minutes. Then, the material is mixed again for 30 seconds and is ready for use. Cracks Smaller than 5 mm: Holes should be drilled with appropriate intervals (35 – 45 cm) from both sides of the crack plane, according to the crack width, depth and ambient conditions. These holes should be drilled deep enough to pierce the crack plane and pass to the other side and at an angle of approximately 45° with the crack plane. Dust and free particles should be removed by holding air into the holes drilled, and plastic packers should be nailed into them and fixed by
tightening. Cracks Larger than 5 mm: Pneumatic hoses should be placed in the crack with appropriate intervals (70 – 90 cm) by deciding according to the crack width, depth and ambient conditions. Free particles in the crack should be removed with compressed air.
During the application, the ambient and surface temperature should not be below (+ 5) ° C and above (+ 30) ° C. In order for the material to complete its setting, the ambient and floor temperature must not fall below the minimum permissible temperature. It should be protected from sun, wind, rain and frost between the first 24-48 hours of application. During the application of the product, work clothes should be worn inaccordance with the occupational and occupational health rules and appropriate glasses and masks should be used. After the application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +30°C), rain and frost. Before the product is fully cured and hardened, hands should be cleaned with water. Immediately after application, before it hardens, the equipment should be cleaned with water. After the product has hardened, it must be cleaned by mechanical methods. The prepared mortar is easily applied with the help of a trowel. In more than one coat application, it should be done after the previous hardening. In open area and large surface applications, precautions should be taken against rapid drying.
It should be stored in a clean, dry and moisture-free environment between +50C and +300C, away from direct sunlight. It must be protected against water, frost and severe weather. It should be stored in stacks of no more than 10 layers. Provided that the specified storage conditions are complied with, the storage life is a maximum of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
An average of 1.40 – 1.60 liters of injection mortar is required to fill 1 liter of space.
Itis offered for sale in kraft bags of 15 kg.
