The surfaces of historical masonry buildings to be repaired and plastered must be solid, dust-free and clean before application. Surface should be free of dust, oil and loose parts that will reduce adherence. The surface to be treated should be moistened before the application

Mixture Preparation: 15 kg of YAPGUARD© NHL 3.5 is added slowly to 4.5 – 5.5 liters of clean water. It is mixed with a low-speed mechanical mixer until a homogeneous appearance is achieved. Let the material rest for 5-10 minutes. Then, the material is mixed again for 30 seconds and is ready for use.

Application: The prepared homogeneous mixture is applied with a trowel. After the mortar absorbs the water, water is sprinkled on the mortar with a plasterer’s brush and the surface is finished with a steel or wooden trowel. In applications to be made in more than one layer, the previous layer should be moistened after hardening and the application of the new layer should be started.

During the application, the ambient and surface temperature should not be below (+ 5) ° C and above (+ 30) ° C. In order for the material to complete its setting, the ambient and floor temperature must not fall below the minimum permissible temperature. In threaded surface applications, the surface must be protected from sun, wind, rain and frost between the first 24-48 hours after application. Reaction times are affected by ambient and ground temperatures. Reaction times are shortened in hot environments and prolonged in cold environments. Hot mix water should be used in cold environments. In hot environments, ice mix water should be used. During the application of the product, work clothes should be worn in accordance with the occupational and occupational health rules and appropriate glasses and masks should be used. After the application, it should be protected against adverse weather conditions such as direct sunlight, strong wind, high air temperature (over +30°C), rain and frost. Hands should be cleaned with water and detergent before the product is fully cured and hardened. Immediately after application, before it hardens, the equipment should be cleaned with water. After the product has hardened, it must be cleaned by mechanical methods. The prepared mortar is easily applied with the help of a trowel. In more than one coat application, it should be done after the previous hardening. In open area and large surface applications, precautions should be taken against rapid drying

It should be stored in a clean, dry and moisture-free environment between +5⁰C and +30⁰C, away from direct sunlight. It must be protected against water, frost and severe weather. It should be stored in stacks of no more than 10 layers. Provided that the specified storage conditions are complied with, the storage life is a maximum of 12 months from the date of manufacture.

Food and beverages should also not come into contact with the product. The product should be stored and protected in places away from children.
