Yapseal Heat 400 C

It is used as a topcoat coating material on plaster in the thermal insulation system, and as a decorative façade coating on thin plastered and smooth rough plastered surfaces.

Dust, dirt, oil, which reduce adhesion on the surfaces to be applied, should be completely cleaned and the surface should be dry, clean and solid. Over an average of 4.50 – 5.25 liters of clean water, 25kg of YAPSEAL© HEAT 400 C should be added slowly. It should be mixed, preferably with a low-speed mixer or trowel, until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Any substance that is not specified in the application instructions should not be added to the mixture. The prepared mortar should be rested for 3 – 5 minutes to ripen. It should be mixed again for 1 – 2 minutes before starting the application.

YAPSEAL© HEAT 400 C should be applied to the surface with a steel trowel in the size of a filler and should be textured by making circular movements with a plastic trowel. It should be applied to interconnected surfaces at once. Before applying on new mineral surfaces, the surface must be cured. It is not left on the percentage as a finishing material. After drying, it must be painted with silicone-added exterior paint.

The ambient temperature should be between +5 °C and +35 °C, and application should be avoided in very humid or very hot weather, under the sun. It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or in danger of frost within 24 hours.

The prepared mortar should be consumed within 3 hours.

The product must be used within the life of the container. Expired or crusted mortar in the container should never be used. Insulation boards should be placed close to each other, and the gaps between the boards should be as small as possible in order to prevent heat transfer. During and after application, the surface should be protected from air currents. In hot weather, the mortar should be prevented from being exposed to direct sunlight and the mixture should be made with water with the temperature at room conditions. It should not be applied in rainy weather, and the applied surface should be protected from rain for 24 hours. During the application, the surface and ambient temperature should be between +50C and +350C. Dilatation joints should not be sealed with YAPSEAL© HEAT 400 C, a dilatation profile should be used for these sections. This product does not apply on metal surfaces and wooden flooring. Since it is cement-based, do not breathe the dust and avoid contact with the skin and eyes. After the applications, hands and application tools should be washed with plenty of water. Surfaces should be cleaned with a damp cloth.

It should be stored in a clean, dry and moisture-free environment between +50C and +350C, away from direct sunlight. It must be protected against water, frost and severe weather. It should be stored in stacks of no more than 10 layers. Provided that the specified storage conditions are complied with, the storage life is a maximum of 12 months from the date of manufacture

Occupational Health and Safety instructions must be followed in all works. In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety instructions, it is obligatory to use all occupational safety equipment such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles/masks during the application. It is necessary to ventilate the work site. Warehouses and stock areas should not be approached with fire. The contact of the product with the skin and eyes should be strictly avoided, in such a case, the area where the product comes into contact with plenty of water should be washed immediately and medical help should be sought immediately. Food and beverages should also not come into contact with the product. It should be stored and protected in places away from children. For more information, the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) should be reviewed. In addition, the application of the product; It should be done by people with sufficient technical knowledge, equipment and experience.
