Yapseal PU IN 300

It is used in vertical and horizontal applications in interior and exterior environments of all structures. It is used for waterproofing and stabilization of cracks and gaps in concrete in tunnels, metros, dams, foundations, curtains, retaining walls, wastewater facilities.

The surface must be cleaned of any dirt that will interfere with adhesion. The temperature of the application surface should be between +5°C and +35°C. Before the application, it is necessary to make the necessary surface repairs and corner chamfers. If deep cracks and joint gaps are observed on the application surface, these areas should be cleaned. Cracks larger than 3 mm should be sealed with suitable repair mortars. The locations of the packets should be determined according to the region and location where the leak comes from. Packers should be placed at an angle of 450C. Packers should be nailed to a distance of half
the thickness of the reinforced concrete. The distance between the packers should be in the range of 15 – 90 cm. The inside of the holes must be free of dust.

YAPSEAL® PU – IN Component 300 A and B must be mixed until a homogeneous consistency is reached at an average speed of 400 rpm before starting the application.
Component B should be added to the YAPSEAL® PU – IN 300 A Component and mixed at an average speed of 400 rpm until a homogeneous consistency is reached.

The A+B mixture fed into the injection pump is applied to the prepared packets. Application pressure may vary between 14 – 200 bar. The pressure is increased starting with low pressure and until the resin mixture begins to overflow. Following the observation of resin overflow, another package should be started.

The application should be started from the first packet and the packer order should be followed. In the injection application, the regime injected from all packers will overflow from the leaking cracks in the reinforced concrete. After this process, the application is terminated.

For the best results in YAPSEAL® PU IN – 300 application, the ambient temperature should be between +5°C and +35°C and necessary precautions should be taken in bad weather conditions. The terminated application should be protected from severe weather conditions for 24 hours. (Intense sun, wind, frost, rain, etc.) In order for the performance and technical values of the material to provide the specified data, and for there to be no prolongation or shortening in the processing and open holding times; It is recommended to apply at the specified ambient and surface temperatures, in an environment with optimum humidity. Packages that have been stored in advance and will be opened for application should be made ready for
use at an average of 25°C. Smoking should not be allowed during the application. The equipment used should be cleaned with solvents while the material is still wet after the application. After the material has dried, it can only be cleaned by mechanical methods.

For a space of 1 liter, about 0.100 kg of the product is required

Component A: 25 kg Plastic Drum
Component B: 2,5 kg Plastic Drum

It should be stored in a clean, dry and moisture-free environment between +50C and +350C, away from direct sunlight. It must be protected against water, frost and severe weather. It should be stored in stacks of no more than 3 layers. Provided that the above-mentioned storage conditions are complied with, the storage life is a maximum of 12 months from the date of production.

First, all necessary Occupational Health and Safety measures should be taken in the areas where the application will be made and the procedures should be carried out by people who have technical knowledge and equipment. Occupational Health and Safety instructions must be followed in all works. In accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety instructions, it is obligatory to use all
occupational safety equipment such as work clothes, protective gloves/goggles/masks during the application. It is necessary to ventilate the work site. Warehouses and stock areas should not be approached with fire. The contact of the product with the skin and eyes should be strictly avoided, in such a case, the area where the product comes into contact with plenty of water should be
washed immediately and medical help should be sought immediately. Food and beverages should also not come into contact with the product. It should be stored and protected in places away from children. For more information, the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) should be reviewed. In addition, the application of the product; It should be done by people with sufficient technical knowledge, equipment and experience.
